Description: When I first saw this poster, I was impressed by the illustration, which also expresses the message. This illustration is for 5 Corporation’s “5 Days,” a private preparatory school in Japan. The theme of this time is "Summer Special Training". The concept is "Let's enjoy and study during the summer". Create ‘5’ island and ‘5’ is the symbol of this corporation. It shows children are studying by themselves.

Among them, I like the second picture I made the most because its colors are more vivid and have a more mysterious feeling.

Week3: LECTURE: INTRO TO PHOTOSHOP :

This is my final drawing

Description:When I saw this poster for the first time, I was struck by its retro atmosphere.

 The me elements are inspired by Disney princesses, and the romantic colors of.   butterflies and roses are the theme sources of women. From the story of the prince and.  princess as the background. The white background dominates, with pink and purple  elements making up the overall plate tone. The overall highlight of pink and character.   effect, to the silhouette of the black and white protagonists, but also to   modern fashion   female elements. The combination of fairy tale and modern, visual    color effect is my emphasis on visual impact. I want to express my imagination of color   and the contrast to the theme. 

Week4:PRACTICAL: DIGITAL COLLAGE

Design #1：

DESCRIPTION:Or the use of PS techniques, the use of the teacher's pictures applied to the present method to establish the connection between the pictures, the main body is the tall building. I hope I can use Photoshop to learn more things.

Design2:

DESCRIPTION:My theme is a blue and green fish and the background of this fish is an oval. The round color for the red foil makes this main object of the fish come alive, and then I used the pen element deducted from the teacher's newly posted picture in the form of a pen drawing. Increasing the number of people in the waterway is more consistent with this sentence. I hope I will be more flexible with PS applications in the future.

Design #3:

DESCRIPTION:

The superposition method is used to adjust the relationship between strong and weak and virtual and real by adjusting the transparency of the poster, and then the superposition transformation of the graphics is used to highlight the subject. Adjust the ratio of transparency to make the overall picture harmonious.

The use of picture superposition to expand the two main objects, so that the three objects superimposed together is more hierarchical division. My main objects are tall buildings and leaves. I hope I can make use of ps or this software to make my future study more convenient.

W6: PRACTICAL – RECOLORING BLACK & WHITE

1. PROJECT 1B - PART 2: Recoloring Black and White

In this exercise, we are instructed to recolour black and white images from the tutorial video Mr Martin showed us. This exercise is divided into three parts, as they test on different skills in photoshop. 

Part 1 - Recoloring Male Black & White Image 

For part 1 we will mainly be using brush tool and blending modes and masking. 

Following the video Mr Martin showed us, I tried to replicate his steps but using my own colors and tested out the different blending mode. I recorded down my design process below and the final outcome 

Part 2 : Recoloring Female Model Black & White Image 

For part 2 , we will mainly be utilising the above tools in part 1 but also object selection tool and higher difficulty of all the tools. We will follow a video Mr Martin showed us and complete this part on our own. I attached my final outcome and the design process below :

W7: PRACTICAL: PROJECT 2A: EXERCISE 1 (PHOTO MANIPULATION)

 

Project 2 Part 1 - Double Exposure

Project 2 : Double Exposure & Photo Manipulation 

This project is split into 2 exercises, one of which is our own double exposure portrait and the other is poster creation. 

Exercise 1 : Double Exposure 

This exercise is split into 2 parts, one of which is to create a double exposure based on the video Mr Martin showed us and the other is to create our own self portrait double exposure.

Part 1 : Double Exposure Tutorial Following the video tutorial, we were expected to replicate and come up with the double exposure image. In this tutorial, we mainly practiced on how to use layer masks to mask out the needed parts and applying blending modes to them. Below is the double exposure design i created as per the video.

For the submission, we were tasked to create our own version of double exposure and applying our new learnt skills by watching the tutorial. Below are the steps i took to create the designs. 

I asked my friends to helped me take a portrait which I will be using for the design.

Those that can be combined must be similar in appearance. I can find something similar in my room.

1. At first, I found a mouse and my tooth cup, but combining the two cups seemed a little monotonous.

2. After that, I put the mouse on my eyes. I think mine is very similar to a portable battery, but unfortunately, my portable battery can't be found for the time being, so I gave up this idea.

3. Then I saw my backpack and express box. The shape of the delivery box is very similar to that of the backpack. I think it would be good to combine these two things, but this delivery box is so bad that I don't have a complete delivery box. So I had to give up this idea.

4. When I started to feel sleepy and want to sleep, I saw my umbrella and my favorite lollipop.

The umbrella bar with lollipops as my umbrella looks very interesting and cute. So I finally decided to combine the umbrella with lollipops.

After considering the projects that need to be combined, I need to go to the next

step and take relatively clear photos to combine them.

INTRO	Influenced by my parents during my childhood, I developed a fondness for drawing and made a firm resolution to become an artist when I grow up.
PARAGRAPH 1	Supported and encouraged by my parents, I emerged among the top 500 artists in the province, successfully navigating interviews at five renowned Chinese art academies.
PARAGRAPH 2	Now acquiring some specialized knowledge, the learning process has proven remarkably enjoyable, and I relish this sensation. It serves as a powerful motivation for me to continue my studies.
SUMMARY	Inspired by the richness of life and bolstered by the unwavering support of her family, Wang Yifan has crafted a vision of becoming an outstanding artist. INTRO	For this assignment, I aim to express my own perspectives, grounded in the knowledge imparted by the professor.
PARAGRAPH 1	I started writing this piece after seeing something intriguing on Douyin. I found its exaggerated portrayal quite amusing
PARAGRAPH 2	This work incorporates my own photos and draws on knowledge I've gained this semester, all presented in a highly entertaining manner.
SUMMARY	This piece not only integrates the knowledge I've acquired but also blends in elements I find amusing, creating a playful composition.

Specific Feedback: Feeling like can edit or add more somethings to the picture of the fencer and mountain, but overall is good just try to add some things if can.
